Climbing & mountaineering

In Grisons, there are about 1,000 peaks that make every climber's and mountaineer's heart beat faster. 360 peaks lie over 3,000 metres above sea level. The dream of countless climbers is undoubtedly the ascent of Piz Bernina, the Queen of the Eastern Alps and, at 4,049 metres above sea level, the only 4,000-metre peak in Grisons. Biancograt is one of the most famous ridges in the entire alpine region. If this high alpine climbing route is too difficult, there are endless easier peaks such as Piz Kesh, from where you can admire the Bernina group with Piz Palu and Piz Roseg.
