Skiing area
The winter sports area of the Lenzerheide holiday region welcomes you with two sunny sides of the valley and 155 kilometres of groomed slopes. 80% of the major axes are snow-covered. Whether you are a family, a freerider or a freestyler - here you will find a suitable offer.
In December 2013, the new double aerial tramway from Hörnli to Urdenfürggli had open up, thus connecting Lenzerheide and Arosa ski resorts. PRIVÀ Alpine Lodge is located directly on the slopes of the Rothorntal descent. In addition, the free sports bus shuttle stops right outside the chalet resort and takes you to the ski lift of your choice within few minutes.
It is a wonderful feeling to take the first off-piste track in the soft, untouched powder snow, away from the slopes. Likewise, it is a sporting challenge and an intense experience of nature. Enjoy total freedom on our freeride tours. We show you how to avoid an avalanche situation and how to use an avalanche transceiver device.
Our patented instructors teach you practically directly on the mountains, where you can experience and enjoy the various layers, from powder snow to compacted firn (old snow). For the unforgettable tours, you are provided with all necessary safety equipment. You do not need additional climbing aids.
Both skaters and classic cross-country skiers feel in paradise here with us. From Lantsch/Lenz to Parpan, 52 kilometres of freshly groomed trails await you in one of Switzerland's best cross-country ski areas.
A 3 km illuminated night trail is available for night owls in Lantsch/Lenz. More details and cross-country ski passes are available at our reception desk.
With over 80 km of marked and groomed trails, the Lenzerheide holiday region is an ideal winter hiking area. Hiking trails are marked with pink signs or a snowflake symbol on the yellow hiking signs. The winter hiking trails are also ideal for Nordic walking.
Discover the holiday region, stomping through snow-covered forests and enjoy the peaceful nature on the 4 snowshoe routes. The tours are marked with pink signs and posts. Please stay on the marked paths, so as not to disturb the peace of the game during the harsh winter.
Sledging is fun for everyone and a popular treat not only for families and groups. If you want to have downhill fun for an entire day, select the sledging day card from Scharmoin or Tgantieni. Or combine an exciting downhill run with a relaxing walk through the winter nature. Scharmoin and Tschugga toboggan runs are illuminated. We rent sledges, toboggans or bobs in our sports shop.
Our toboggan run in Churwalden, in the Arosa-Lenzerheide ski resort, promises a fun ride in summer as well as in winter, along with a nice adrenaline rush. Through 31 curves and with a height difference of 480 metres, the toboggan run twists and turns down into the valley. At a length of exactly 3,060 metres, it’s the longest toboggan run in Switzerland.
The PRIVÀ Alpine Lodge has its own children's area of the Swiss Snowsportsschool with excellent infrastructures, including a real teepee, a comfortable conveyor belt, a carousel, a pony lift, a Magic Park and our funny mascots Snowli and Bollo. Snowli and Bollo accompany your child during his first experience on skis or snowboard and have fun together.
In our modern and safe Kinderland, your children will learn to get used to equipment and snow in a carefree way, thus playfully preparing for ski school.
At the children's area Kinderland, we offer half-day or full-day group care for your children. If you would like your children to have lunch in Kinderland, you can book a delicious lunch, including drinks, for your children (booking required).
Please book in advance, especially during high season, Christmas/New Year and during the so-called sports holidays in February.
